What does refurbished, open box mean?
It is an open-box or display unit, not a new machine. Before it ships it is inspected, cleaned, descaled and test-brewed. It may show light cosmetic marks, such as fine scratches or scuffs, that do not affect how it works. It ships in the original box or a plain replacement box. The condition page explains it in full.
How is it different from a new machine?
A new machine has never been opened. This one is a Breville Barista Express, model BES870XL, that was opened or used as a display unit, so it can show light cosmetic marks. It is not sold as new, and the price is the price of an open-box unit.
Who provides the warranty, and for how long?
Cafivora provides a 1-year warranty on this machine. It is our warranty, not Breville’s. Read the terms on the warranty page.
Will it work where I live? It says 120 V.
This is the US 120 V model, so we ship to addresses in the United States and Canada only.
Can I return it?
Yes, within 30 days. The machine must come back complete and clean. A fault after that is covered by the 1-year warranty.
